2027 Black Like Me Educator Summit

In 2027, a Black Like Me Educator Summit will be held in person at Howard University.

This summit will launch an annual two-day convening that brings together Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) educator preparation programs and international partners. This gathering will center on diaspora studies in education, and emphasize pedagogical practices and research in education that advance researchers’ and educators’ awareness of the diaspora.
